Terms of Service

Last updated August 22, 2026

Firdona is in early preview. This document describes the service as it exists today, including its current limitations — read the “Current limitations” section before relying on Firdona for anything financially important.

1. The service

Firdona (“we,” “us”) provides software that connects to your financial accounts (via Plaid, Inc.) and uses an AI layer (“Sterling,” built on Anthropic’s Claude) to narrate patterns in your own transaction data. Sterling is instructed to only phrase figures that were computed first in deterministic code from your real data — it does not calculate or invent numbers itself — but Firdona makes no guarantee that any narration, insight, notification, or purchase recommendation is free of error. Nothing Firdona generates is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.

2. Current limitations

  • Bank connections currently run against Plaid’s Sandbox environment, not real financial institutions. Do not expect real account data to sync while this is true — check the homepage or your account status for the current state.
  • Premium is a preview toggle. No payment is currently collected for any plan.
  • There is no login rate limiting yet. Do not reuse a password from another account you care about.

3. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for activity that happens under your login. Tell us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms or that we reasonably believe is fraudulent or abusive.

4. Acceptable use

Don’t use Firdona to access accounts you’re not authorized to access, attempt to disrupt the service, scrape or bulk-extract data, or send an abusive volume of requests to Sterling or the search/purchase-intelligence features — those calls have a real cost to us per use.

5. Third-party services

Firdona relies on third parties to function: Plaid for bank connections, Anthropic for Sterling’s AI narration, Resend for account emails, and Neon/Vercel for hosting and the database. Your use of Firdona is also subject to those providers’ own terms where applicable. See the Privacy Policy for what data each of them receives.

6. No warranty, limitation of liability

Firdona is provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind, during this early preview period. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Firdona and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including decisions made based on Sterling’s output.

7. Changes

These terms may change as Firdona moves out of early preview — notably once real bank connections and real payment processing are introduced. We’ll update the date at the top of this page when that happens.

8. Contact

Questions about these terms: reach the account owner via the contact on firdona.com.
